Sir: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) as a comorbiditywas earlier considered to be very unusual among mentally retardedindividuals.^1,2 However, current literature review revealsthat OCD does occur at rates at least proportional to the generalpopulation but often remains undetected and untreated among individualswith developmental disabilities.³ Herein, we describethe case of a patient with mild mental retardation and OCD, whoresponded to behavioral therapy.
