With this issue of the Companion, we are beginning a new chapter in our publishing life. The Primary Care Companion to The Journal of Clinical Psychiatry is now the official publication of THE ASSOCIATION OF MEDICINEAND PSYCHIATRY. While the editorial control will remain in the hands of our capable Editor in Chief, J. Sloan Manning, M.D., we will rely on the insights and research efforts of the Association to bring an added dimension to our pages.
