About The Primary Care Companion for CNS Disorders

OUR MISSION

To provide lifelong learning for clinicians by offering evidence-based, peer-reviewed scientific information about the diagnosis and treatment of behavioral health and neuropsychiatric disorders.

The Primary Care Companion for CNS Disorders (PCC) is an international exclusively online peer-reviewed journal. Founded in 1998, PCC seeks to advance the clinical expertise of primary care physicians and other health care professionals who treat patients with mental and neurologic illnesses. PCC publishes research from disciplines such as medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and psychology, especially as it pertains to integrated delivery systems and interdisciplinary collaboration. PCC focuses on providing information of direct clinical utility and giving a voice to clinician researchers. Practice-based research from individuals and groups with clinical expertise is particularly welcome. A variety of Continuing Medical Education activities are also offered through the CME Institute.

PCC is indexed by the National Library of Medicine and publishes 6 issues per year, with weekly online postings of new content to bring you the most up-to-date information.
