Sir: Neuroleptic-induced tardive dyskinesia continues to be a serious problem in the psychopharmacology of mental disorder. The prevalence of tardive dyskinesia is approximately 24% among patients who are treated with neuroleptics for more than 1 year. The annual incidence in younger adults is 4% to 5%.
