Converting From Intramuscular to Oral Risperidone in a Nursing Home Resident
Switching from intramuscular to oral risperidone eliminated the discomfort of receiving an injection every 2 weeks and avoided potential complications including muscle fibrosis and contracture, infection, and nerve injury.
